The charter of rights and freedoms has become a stopping ground for everyone from drug dealers, to molesters, to rapists, and enough is enough. It wasnt created to be used as a justification for illegal or immoral activities, but it has become nothng more than just that. Unfortunately, I dont see Oppal standing to attention anytime soon. He only reacts when public outrage has reached a level where he then must placate the crowd- never before, or on his own.
